What you do
An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer performs some or all of the following duties:
- Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
- Install or modify aircraft engines, mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems
- Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as per Transport Canada requirements
- Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, cleaning, and reassemble
- Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems
What you need
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Sound troubleshooting skills and good analytical skills
- Strong interest in learning and respecting procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English/French)
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings
